Specific migration of food contact materials occurs due to the interaction between food and packaging material. Specific migration test is performed to measure the levels of migrating substances. Suitable and effective chemical analysis is required to identify and quantify the substances, in order to ensure that they meet regulatory limits. KU FCMs offer specific migration testing of a wide range of chemicals for different food contact materials and packaging (e.g., Metal, Paper and Plastic).
